Ming has been involed in various industries throughout his career, from corporate finance to logistics, merchandising, digital marketing, consumer goods and technology. His corporate history includes multi-national corporates the likes of Samsung, PwC and OCBC Bank. A passionate entrepreneur and techie at heart, he has dabbled in a variety of startups including hardware and software. Currently he is currently involved in the tech scene, promoting coding education in Malaysia. As the brain child of HustleFund, his aim is to grow the startup ecosystem in Malaysia and build great businesses that can improve the future of the South East Asian economy.

Joshua has built his business beyond Malaysia and has a network of business associates around the region from a variety of industries. Started his real estate brokerage career in year 2006 as a negotiator and went on to set up his firm that handles properties in the luxury market. His clients range from top developers in Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok to global multi-national corporates. He was awarded Malaysia's top 40 under 40 in recognition for his work in the property industry as well as being featured in various news media outlets. He has successfully fund raised for various Malaysian startups and is interested in exploring how technology can play an important role in creating efficiency, transparency, accountability and scalability for more businesses across the region

Hazieq Rifdy

Hazieq is one of the key member in establishing and driving the direction of the Intelligent Automation team at PwC Malaysia. He holds a Master’s Degree in Aerospace engineering from University of Bristol. At PwC, he's involved in digital transformation project including strategy and IT strategy work across the healthcare and government sector. An an advocate for implementation of AI and Intelligent Automation technology in the industry, Hazieq is actively engaged in several machine learning projects and research paper in the field of neural network and natural language processing. He also has served in a non-profit organization for 3 years during his study, in the domain of education inequality in Malaysia and now contributing as an advisory member.

Ashwin Kandiah

Ashwin Kandiah has been an Executive Director of Astrike group since 2014. Astrike group is behind many successful F&B ventures in Malaysia. He is also Managing Director of Esprit Security, a civil security organization involved in static security for high-end property. He also holds directorships in many other organizations that are involved in the fields of Agriculture, Real Estate and Oil & Gas. He graduated from the University of Newcastle Australia in 2013. He holds a Bachelor of Design (Architecture) and a Masters of Architecture.

To connect entrepreneurs and strategic angel investors together in order to make great businesses come alive.

We do not have a specific investment size. However, average angel investments range from RM25k to RM100k depending on the idea, stage of the business and the entrepreneur.

Often, these startups do not have any traction or even MVP to begin with. Thus, angels often look at the entrepreneur, their commitment to the business and the business idea. The angel needs to believe the entrepreneur can execute the idea successfully.

These startups entrepreneurs do not have an MVP or any form of traction. They require some initial funds to start this venture.
